Papers, 1958-1981.

Moss (1935-1999) began working as a nuclear engineer for Rockwell Corporation in 1958, where he examined problems of nuclear reactor design and safety. From 1968-1968 Moss was a White House fellow in the Department of Transportation and studied auto emissions. He served on the Board of Directors of the Sierra Club from 1968-1974 and was president during his final year. Moss was active with other environmental groups and helped to found the Coalition to Tax Pollution in 1971.
