[W. Benjamin Kennedy (1938- )] 1973-1995.

W. Benjamin "Ben" Kennedy was a history professor at the University of West Georgia from 1962-1999. He was also department head from 1967-1971. This collection contains two series. The first accession (Boxes 1-3) consists of manuscript, notes, microfilm, and research materials for his book, Muskets, Cannonballs & Bombs, published in 1974 by Beehive Press. The second accession (Boxes 4-8) is Dr. Kennedy's personal files relating primarily to the History Department and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. These papers cover the years 1973-1995.
