Papers pertaining to an incidence of cheating on a medical school examination at the University of Virginia, 1902.

The collection contains a copy of a special examination on Infectious Diseases and Neurology, 1902 February 11; the original answers submitted by the accused student; a sheet taken from the accused student's examination tablet during his absence from the room; a sheet taken from another student's tablet and handed to class president H.B. Taylor; a second examination taken by the accused student on February 21, with the signatures of two witnesses; a covering letter from witnessing physician Robert C. Randolph to Taylor, February 21; a letter to Taylor from a faculty committee (Lile, Mallet, Fontaine, Thornton, Minor) unanimously concluding the guilt of the accused, March 13; and three pages of the examination answers that had been torn in pieces and reassembled.
