Minerva (Brigantine) logbook, 1798.

This incomplete logbook of the brigantine Minerva details a shipping voyage from Beverly, Mass., to the Isle of May, Scotland, Feb.-May 1798. The brigantine's home port was Salem, Mass.; the owner was William Gray; the master and logbook keeper was William Mugford. The logbook includes signal flags.
