Part of a group of negatives taken for October 15, 1961, Arkansas Gazette article "Rohwer to Honor Its Past Today," E5:2. At Rohwer, Desha County, Arkansas, a Japanese relocation center was stationed during World War II. A monument that remembers those who died in military service while in the Europe Theater. Monument reads, "In Memorium. Dedicated to the men from Rohwer Center who gave their lives to America on foreign soil. Pvt.
