Sailing orders, 1792-1794.

Manuscript copies of sailing orders from John Gregory, a Boston shipowner, to Capt. John Dewing Dennis, 1792-94, to command the ship Hope on a voyage to Spain to deliver cargo to James Scobie, a merchant. Also includes manuscript copies of orders to Ebenezer Graves, Jr., for a voyage to Bordeaux, France in the ship Betty with directions for disposing of the cargo.
