Alfred Young papers, 1893-1935.

Contains the working documents of Alfred Young in relationship to four plays of William Shakespeare: Merchant of Venice, Merry wives of Windsor, Midsummer night's dream, and Twelfth night. In each case there is a copy of Young's directors copy of the play heavily annotated with his notes. In addition, there are other programs and reviews of his productions, as well as by other directors, production notes and files with costume, state and production clippings.
