According to the company's website at http://www.mountaire.com/aboutus.html the Hayes Grain and Commission Company was created in Arkansas in 1914 and became Cameron Feed Mills in 1931. In 1959, Cameron Feed Mills joined with seven Arkansas firms representing various segments of the poultry business which incorporated into Mountaire Poultry, Inc. in 1964.
