Negative taken for July 16, 1961, Arkansas Gazette article "A Real Helping Hand for Little Nomads," E1:1. The main entrance to the Springdale Labor Center in Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas. As parents and older children work in the fields, babies and small children stay at the center. School starts at 2:00 PM for the children who work in the fields in the mornings.
