One of a group of copy negatives taken of Walter J. Lemke's collection of cartoons of historic Arkansas people and place, including Reverend Andrew Hunter, General Patrick Cleburne, Bishop Andrew Byrne, Bishop Edward Fitzgerald and Matthew Lyon. Deane more than likely took these copy negatives during his career with the Arkansas Gazette.
