Robert C. Stever is a Seattle physician who was born December 5, 1933. He was educated at Swarthmore College and the University of Pennsylvania, interned at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, and served for 26 years on the medical staff at Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound. Stever traveled to northern India and Nepal on a clinical clerkship and worked in Cambodia for two years as a CARE-Medico volunteer.
