An unpublished work in two parts, the first being an account of the foundation of the order of St. Clare (the Second Order of Franciscans), divided into twelve chapters. This is followed by biographies of the members of the order, begining with St. Clare. The main body of the work is preceded and followed by prayers and hymns. There exists at least one other manuscript containing the same text, preserved in the Biblioteca Guaracci at Volterra. The description in the Inventario de manoscritti delle biblioteca d'Italia (II, p. 217) suggests that there are a number of differences between it and the present text (cf. Bancroft Library collection file for further information).
