Sorem, Ronald Keith, 1924-

Ronald K. Sorem was born in Northfield, Minnesota, in 1924. He received his Masters degree from the University of Minnesota in 1948 and his Ph. D. from the University of Wisconsin in 1958. He was a geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey from 1948 to 1955, working in Cuba, Maine, and the Philippine Islands and then a Professor of Geology at Washington State University from 1959 to 1983.
