Friendship (Ship) logbook, 1799-1800.

The logbook of the ship Friendship details a shipping voyage from Hamburg to Salem, Mass., La Guaira, Venezuela, and Cadiz, plus another, incomplete voyage from Salem to London, May 1799-Sept. 1800. The ship's owners were Waite & Peirce; the master and logbook keeper was Israel Williams. The ship's home port was Salem. The logbook includes illustrations (profile views) and equipment and supplies, specifically provisions.
