Informs Arthur Hugh Clough of an award of Ł100 a year and expenses. "I enclose the Epitome of Trust Deed of the Nightingale Fund [no longer present] which will be safer in your hands than in mine." Clough was in poor health and his public duties at this time included working with Florence Nightingale.
