Eldon T. McEntire (1911-2002) earned a B.S. degree from the University of Utah in Electrical Engineering in 1934. He was employed by the Salt Lake City Water Dept. in 1934, and was made chief engineer in 1952. He received a US patent on a variable speed electric motor and was a registered professional engineer and land surveyor. During World War II he worked at the Remington Arms plant. He was a member of the LDS Church, and served as an Ensign Stake missionary, a scoutmaster, and in various oth...
