Handwritten letter in which Prescott expresses his satisfaction at Chandler's re-election. He also asks Chandler to use his influence to refute allegations made to Governor William Burnet of Massachusetts concerning his (Prescott's) position on several issues, in particular a regular salary for the royal governor.
