Irwin St. John Tucker (1886-1982) was an Episcopal priest as well as a socialist and journalist. Tucker worked as a journalist for The Christian Socialist and Chicago Herald-American. At the time of his retirement from the Herald-American in 1954, Irwin Tucker was the paper's religion editor. He also contributed poetry, under the pseudonym Friar Tuck, to the Chicago Tribune.
