Contains a transcript and a photocopy of a newspaper article describing Bowen's military experiences at both Okinawa and Peleliu. At both, his platoon incurred massive casualties and he suffered from an emotional breakdown. At Okinawa he was severely wounded after being hit by a sniper's bullet in the face.
