John Oxenford letters, 1835-1874.

The collection consists of eleven handwritten letters, including three letters to My dear sir, two letters to Thomas, and letters to Hollingshead, Mr. Kean, Shirley Brooks, Buckingham, Mr. Donne, and Planché. Dates range from 2 May 1851 to 10 June 1874, and the letters tend to be brief, including some personal information, some business inquiries, and news about his writing. The letter to Hollingshead is signed John Hollingshead, but is in Oxenford's hand.
