Latin translation of Book II of the Eusebian canons, with additions by St. Jerome and an anonymous writer. Eusebius' portion covers the birth of Abraham to 325 A.D. Jerome chronicles 325-ca. 378 A.D. The anonymous section covers 381-962 A.D., where the chronicle ends incomplete. The text is organized chronologically and begins with a list of four ancient empires: Hebrew, Assyrian, Scythian, and Egyptian. Consists mainly of tables of dates and events starting with the birth of Abraham, indicating the reygnal years and the Olympiad and including short historical notes. Also includes interpolations on the Goths and Britons in Spain.
