Contains a brief memoir detailing Murray's service during the war, including his training and action seen in North African, Italian, Indian, and Chinese campaigns. Discusses the hardships of everyday life while chasing the enemy across the Sahara desert. Describes illnesses contracted while in North Africa. Also discusses Murray's interaction with other LDS servicemen and the protection he derived from living in accordance wih his religious principles. Includes photocopies of his discharge papers. Photographs include two of Murray in full military dress, two of Murray with his fellow soldiers, and one of him in a transport truck. Also contains a photograph of Murray with his high school basketball team.
