Contains a letter from Jackson with details of his military service. Includes a short history of the USS Mount Hood, which Jackson served on before it exploded in a horrific accident. Also includes a history of the USS Marcus Island, which he served on for the duration of the war, most notably at Leyte Gulf. Contains a lithograph of the Escort Carrier, USS Marcus Island, and a photocopy of a plaque given to Jackson commemorating his service during the Battle of Leyte Gulf. Photograph shows him in military dress.
