Contains a brief memoir of his experiences, including his initial flight training, assignment to the 98th Bomb Group and flight to Palestine. Includes description and newspaper clippings of a daring bombing mission for which he was decorated 57 years after the war. Also includes photocopied photographs (with captions) of Jorgansen, his wife, B-24 and crew, a map of his flight from the US to Palestine, and a map of Palestine. Contains photocopied artwork with captions depicting the various crew positions aboard a B-24.

Served in the US 9th Army Air Force during World War II from 1941-1945. Jorgensen was assigned to the 98th Bomb Group, 343rd Squadron as the pilot of a B-24 Liberator Bomber.
