Contains a brief summary of Bradfield's military experiences in the Pacific. Includes a summary of his role in the Army's mobilization immediately after receiving news of Pearl Harbor's bombing. Contains a description of the landing at Lingayen Gulf involving over 800 naval ships, and the eventual conquering of the islands of Luzon and Negros. Also includes details of Bradfield's contact with other LDS servicemen and chaplains, his limited opportunities to attend meetings, and correspondence with other church members in America. Photographs show Bradfield both in military dress and with his field artillery unit.
