Covers the following military units: 7th Infantry Division; I Corps, Korea. General description of the collection: The Arthur G. Trudeau photograph collection consists of photos spanning the military career of Arthur Gilbert Trudeau from his graduation from West Point, through his work as Chief of Research and Development, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C., and to retirement in July 1962. A West Point album is found. There are photos on his assignments in Seattle, Washington, and Alaska dam and tunnel projects (1939-1940); landing craft and assault operations (1941-1943); service as Director of Military Training (1943-1945); and subsequent commands from the rank of brigadier general through full general. Materials include his assignment as commandant of the Army War College (1950-1951); commanding general, 7th Infantry Division in Korea; with the Office of the Chief of Staff and Commanding General (CG), I Corps, Korea; and finally, as Chief of Research and Development. Numerous social functions, reviews, and visits to various installations during his years as a general officer complete the holding. There are some photos after retirement with various corporations.
