Coronado Entrada scrapbook, 1940.

Scrapbook of clippings, press releases and a few photos about the July, 1940 production of the Coronado Entrada in Colorado Springs. The staged recreation of the 400th anniversary of the Coronado expedition through what is now the southwestern part of the United States was held in Penrose Stadium and included hundreds of local residents as cast members. Zelle Wade was the publicity director for KVOR Radio and for the local Coronado Entrada, and likely compiled the scrapbook.
