Thomas P. Thompson (1876-1957), an 1896 graduate of Georgia Tech, earned his master's degree from Cornell University in 1898. He spent most of his professional life in Norfolk, Virginia, where he served as city manager from 1933 until 1938 and was named "First Citizen" in 1950. From the description of Thomas P.
