The collection includes photographs of the exterior of Elmwood, Essex County, Va., the home of James Mercer Garnett; the exterior of Prestwould, Mecklenburg County, Va., the home of Sir Peyton and Lady Skipwith; the exterior of Rosegill, in Middlesex County, Va., the home of Ralph Wormeley; and interior and exterior of Sabine Hall, Richmond County, Va., the home of Landon Carter. With these is a photograph of Clifton Waller Barrett taken at his 90th birthday celebration in Alderman Library.
