Lonsdale (Vessel) logbook, 1776-1777.

The logbook of the vessel Lonsdale (rigging unknown) details a shipping voyage from New York to Cork, Ireland and then to Quebec, Aug. 1776 to April 1777. The master was James Grayson; the logbook keeper was probably George Atkinson. The logbook includes personal accounts of at least one of the sailors on board.
