Series 85 of record group 59-4 consists of a map showing the present status of the lands within the six and fifteen miles limits of the Ontonagon and State Line Railroad grant, originally collected by either the Michigan Geological Survey or the Michigan Lands Division. The map was lithographed (ca. 1880) by Collins and Hall, Lithographers of New York. The map is color coded to show Lake Superior Ship Canal, Railway, and Iron Company lands, military wagon road lands, and lands belonging to individuals. The map is 37 3/4" x 33 3/4" in size, with no scale given. Duplicate located in RG 58-17, Item 00150, Argus 10040.
