Autograph letter signed : London, to Arthur Moore, [1890 Jan. 5].

Hoping to meet the following week and asking Moore to visit him at the Arts and Letters Club, noting that though it is rather dull, "one can slack here with some comfort." Asking where the manuscript of their collaborative novel "The Passion of Dr. Ludovicus" is, and noting that he is unable to write ("'Felix Martyr' nor nothing"). Mentioning the second installment of James' "The Solution" and Hardy's article "Candour in English Fiction."
