Francis Samuel Drake letter to Benson John Lossing [manuscript], 1878 May 27.

Drake discusses his desire to have or borrow a few individually printed wood cuts from Lossings "Pictorial field-book of the War of 1812" and "Pictorial field book of the Revolution" for use in his upcoming "The town of Roxbury." He asks what other Roxbury antiques Lossing may have, and will send him a copy of "The life and correspondence of Henry Knox."
