Mentions his various assignments, which included being the personal driver of Lieutenant General Sigismund von Foerster. Discusses details of his years as a prisoner of war from 1945-1948 in the Soviet Union. Describes horrible conditions and harsh work they performed. Describes his association with the LDS Church beginning before the war and leading to his conversion after his time as a POW. Mentions church callings and spiritual experiences as well as his immigration to the US.
