Sixth-plate daguerreotype in leather case of a crayon drawing of Lucretia Orne Peabody Everett (1786-1862), probably drawn by Seth Wells Cheney in 1850. She was the wife of U.S. diplomat Alexander Hill Everett. The photograph was taken by Luther Holman Hale of Boston, Mass. ca, 1850-1854.
