Handwritten lyrics to fifty-three ballads collected by Berea College student Talitha McClure and her mother, Talitha Powell, during the 1915-16 school year. Other materials include Berea College group photographs that include Talitha McClure. The collection also contains photocopies of pages from Cecil Sharp's English Folk Songs of the Southern Appalachians, which documents ballads collected in 1917 from Talitha's mother by the English ballad scholar.
