Diary and account book, 1759, 1764-1766.

Handwritten account kept by Jesse Tilson, a soldier from Stoughton (now Canton), of his participation in the Quebec Campaign during the French and Indian War. Includes handwritten copy of two promissory notes by John Spare dated "February 1 1765" and "Stoughton August 1 1765". There are also a couple of account book entries for sawing of planks and a receipt dated "Stoughton March ye 7 1766". Includes explanatory letters and notes, ca. 1908.
