Contains the following type of materials: photographs. Covers the following time period: 1933-1962. General description of the collection: The Mrs. Rothwell H. Brown photograph collection consists of photos donated by the wife of Brigadier General Rothwell H. Brown which include materials from various dates of his service and post-retirement years. The 1933 group is of a trip through Inner Mongolia showing a hunting trip, visits with dignitaries, and scenes in the country. Twelve photos deal with Brown's service in China during World War II (WWII); sixty-one photos cover Brown's service with the United States (U.S.) Military Assistance Advisory Group (MAAG), Pakistan (circa 1954-1956); and twenty-three photos are of Brown's activities in Laos after his retirement while working in the U.S. embassy there.
