Highly detailed diary of his flight training and combat as a fighter pilot in England, the Battle of Dieppe, and Malta. Includes descriptions of wartime London, Scotland and his home of Lethbridge, Canada. Zobell also participated in aerial combat operations while based in Belgium and mentions his visit to Germany shortly before the end of the war. Discusses his thoughts, feelings, deaths of friends in training and combat, the qualities of the Spitfire, and combat experiences. The photocopied photographs are of Zobell and his Spitfires.
