This collection consists of Philip J. Hart's autobiography, his personal journals 1932-1999; scrapbooks, photographs, and materials relating to Hart's career. Contains biographies for Lewis William Barry Wride, 1862-1934 and Harriet Stark Wride, 1868-1944; Alma Baker, 1877-1950 and Hannah McKinley Baker, 1870-1946; and Daniel Stark, 1820-1907. Biography for Lewis and Harriet Wride includes information on his attendance at the Brigham Young Academy; their life in Payson, Utah; and his Latter-day Saint Mission in Wales, including a copy of his missionary journal. Also includes a significant amount of information on thier extended family. The biography for Alma and Hannah Baker includes a significant amount of information on their life in Provo, Utah and their extended family. The biography of Daniel Stark includes information on each of his three wives; his early life in Boston, Massachusetts, 1820-1846; his conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; his pioneer trek west by sea on the "Brooklyn"; and his move to Payson, Utah in 1858. Also includes information on his extended family. Also includes bibliography. The biography of Wendell Stark Wride and Afton Marie Baker. It tells of his early years in Utah, where he attended Brigham Young University, where he met his wife. After graduation, they moved to California.
