Typescript of an interview conducted by Lucille M. McDonald on 23 Sept. 1986. Also included is the cassette tape from which the typescript was made. Grover talks about coming to Brigham Young University in 1921 when her father was made president of that institution. She tells about the the activities of her father, the stutents at the university, and about the conditions at that institution. She also talks about her marriage and children.

Plans for the David O. McKay building began in 1952 after an evaluation by the Brigham Young University College of Education concluded that the existing building for the College of Education were no longer meeting the growing needs of the program.
