Series 34 of record group 59-4 consists of a survey and plan of state salt section, Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan, originally collected by either the Michigan Geological Survey or the Michigan Lands Division. Shows salt well, engine house, smith's shop, dwelling on bank of Grand River (Dec. 30, 1842). The map is 18 1/4" x 12 1/2" in size, with a scale of 8 in. : 1 mile.
