Manistee and Northeastern Railroad, 1909-1910.

Series 78-79 of record group 59-4 consist of two blueprints and a typewritten list relating to the Manistee and Northeastern Railroad, originally collected by either the Michigan Geological Survey or the Michigan Lands Division. The first item is a blueprint (1909) showing the plan of crossing and connections of the Manistee and Northeastern Railroad with the Grand Rapids and Indiana Railroad at Walton, Michigan (in Ts.25 N., Rs.9-10 W.). The blueprint is 13" x 19 1/2" in size, with a scale of 1 in. : 300 ft. The next item is a blueprint showing state tax and homestead lands crossed by the Manistee and Northeastern Railroad in 1910 (J.J. Hubbell, Ch. Engr.). The blueprint is 12" x 23" in size, with no scale given. The final item is a typewritten list of land descriptions.
