Deeds, tax receipts, estate appraisals and other documents kept by the Dering family of Boston, Mass., 1627-1780. Includes receipts for membership of the First Church of Boston, deeds for land in Boston, a catalog of books and estate inventories of Henry Dering, 1690-1730; bills of lading and receipts kept by Thomas Dering; and a letter sent to Thomas from George Whitefield, 1759. Also includes a collection of sermons possibly written by Eliphalet Adams, 1733, a list of foreign forces and vessels destroyed during the Revolution, 1776-80, and Dering family genealogical information compiled in 1898.
