Letter 16 Nov. 1847.

C.T. Taylor of Louisville, Kentucky wrote this letter to his friend, Madison Y. Johnson of Galena, Georgia. Taylor ran a collection agency operating in Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana and Illinois. He wrote to Johnson, pointing out that a business partner of Johnson's brother, Charles L. Davis, had an overdue debt to one of his clients, D.J. Warwick. Taylor wanted Johnson to get some of the money owed from Davis to assuage the impatient Warwick.
