Sixth-plate daguerreotype in leather case of Mary May (later Eliot) (1859-1926) as a young girl. She married the Unitarian minister Christopher Rhodes Eliot in 1888. Enclosed is a note in an unknown hand, identifying the image. The photographer is unknown.
