This is a letter from Young Ewing Allison to an unknown friend and doctor of medicine. Allison referred to his own deafness and "nervous rebellion," and indicated that the doctor was having vision problems. Their mutual friend R.W. Conde is mentioned passingly. Allison recommended a new edition of Casanova's Memoirs.
