Negative taken for September 26, 1961, Arkansas Gazette article "Work Used as Healing Factor in Hot Springs," B1:3. Millis Redman of Clinton, Van Buren County, Arkansas, began occupational therapy at the Hot Springs Rehabilitation Center after a stroke disabled his left arm. Redman, who is an automobile mechanic, operates a loom which requires him to use his left hand, wrist, arm and shoulder, thus strengthening his muscles and regaining co-ordination. The Rehabilitation Center at Hot Springs, Garland County, Arkansas, is in the old Army-Navy Hospital, which was given to the state of Arkansas by the United States Government.
