Oral history interview with Leatrice Gutmann Nov. 6, 2001.

Gutmann discusses her involvement in Jewish sororities. She first talks about Phi Delta Mu, a sorority for high school girls, describing the pledging process, the backgrounds of other members, and sorority activities. She then discusses Alpha Epsilon Phi, one of two Jewish sororities at the University of Washington in the 1950s. She describes rushing and pledging in detail, but also touches on social life within the sorority. She briefly relates some childhood memories about growing up on Yesler Way.
