Correspondence, papers, booklet, book. Also in the collection is a copy of History of Alachua County Florida, by F.W. Bucholz. It contains a chapter called The first fight at Gainesville, which gives an excellent description of the period, including the Civil War activities of Captain W.E. Chambers with Troop C of the 2nd Florida Cavalry around Palatka, Gainesville, Lake City and Newnansville.
